DRAWING MEDICINE:
WEEK ONE

In this seminar we will read, discuss, and create informal drawings and graphic narratives (comics) on the themes of illness, medicine, caregiving, and health care. We will use drawing as a way to think about the medical encounter from various perspectives. You will be expected to complete brief reading/listening/drawing assignments, participate in drawing exercises, and present a graphic novel (will be provided) to the class.
