Sort of – this isn’t really about Mies. I’ve just realized I could no longer ignore the bug thing going on here. If you look back at Edith’s grave, there’s a bug in the bottom right corner of her headstone. I thought about asking it to leave before I took the shot, but decided it wasn’t my place to ask. Then I remembered the bug on the Farnsworth Glass photo, and then another, the exoskeleton abandoned by a beetle. The fuzzy background in this photo is the Farnsworth House. See the theme? I think I need to go back into Graceland. If there’s a bug on Mies’ headstone when I get there, you’ll be the first to know about it. Then we can discuss.
