The entire household is in the throes of a nasty cold. The kind of cold you see in the Nyquil commercials… the kind of cold that makes you utter the word ‘miserable‘ at 4 a.m… the kind of cold that makes you want to fumigate the house. We’ve started on Zithromax. Here’s hoping that it works. This bug is really screwing up my productivity.
Thanks to a tip from my fellow artist pal Jeanette, I am going to be participating in the Chicago Public Library Womens History Month art exhibition program. I’ll have a show at the Lincoln/Belmont branch library (which is actually at Melrose and Paulina) from the end of February through March and possibly beyond. I’m excited to do a few new dog reading pieces for the kids corner of the library.
Also in the public art vein, I’m currently working on an application to the CTA Arts in Transit program. Several artists will be chosen to work with the reconstruction of the Brown line to install permanent pieces. What an exciting opportunity.
