Thanks to a recent conversation with Brian Fies, creator of Mom’s Cancer, I have resurrected and finally colorized “My Graphic Medicine Origin Story.”
It was created to possibly be included in the forthcoming Graphic Medicine Manifesto, but Ian Williams and I decided on a different approach.
So, on the heels of the amazingly successful (due to the work of Lydia Gregg and her team at Johns Hopkins) FIFTH Comics & Medicine conference, here is my (nearly lost) Graphic Medicine origin story, featuring special guest star Katie Watson.
