I’m a much better learner via what I hear than what I read in text alone. So I love to listen to podcasts & audiobooks as I walk Alice or work in the yard. Through oral history, I’ve learned that doing academic work can also take the form of audio. So as I prepare to work with colleagues on a book about Graphic Medicine, I’ve taken to posting relevant presentations and, more recently, conversational interviews, under the heading of the Graphic Medicine podcast. It will likely evolve (and hopefully improve) as time goes on, but thus far it’s been a very rewarding tool, and I’m getting some terrific feedback from around the globe. You can subscribe in iTunes (just search the store for Graphic Medicine) or directly on the podcast’s site linked above.
