Spent the holiday weekend in the Leelanau peninsula of Michigan. Alice got to meet the alpacas, sort of. She barked, they stared. It didn’t seem like more interaction was necessary.
Attended two fests in one weekend – Polkafest in Cedar and The National Cherry Festival in Traverse City. Polkafest is worth a return visit – great food, great fun. Cherryfest, I’m not so sure – the booths were fun but the crowds were not.
That yummy polka food looks delicious!! Those alpacas are the cutest things we’ve ever seen!
