A few observations:
It’s interesting that Palin’s most frequent word is the adverb ‘also’ – I think this is because she was stringing together so many fragmented message points. I’d love to see someone try to diagram her sentences.

Biden’s most frequent words are McCain and John. Interesting strategy, but I suspect the campaign would have hoped they would be Obama and Barack.

Note that the largest verb in both of their comments is ‘going’ – I suspect this comes from making statements about what their candidate is ‘going’ to do (that’s good) and what the other candidate is ‘going’ to do (that’s bad). Future tense makes sense, but is a surprise to me that it’s the most common verb.

Interesting too that the country of Afghanistan has large mention by both candidates, not Iraq.
