This week we’ll continue our exploration of the graphic memoir work of Lynda Barry. We have all read One! Hundred! Demons!

We’ll discuss it from two perspectives – form and content, and we’ll evaluate it as memoir. Exciting!

Ivan Brunetti writes that,”The pen teaches best.” In that spirit, we will adapt an exercise from Brunetti’s fantastic book, Cartooning: Philosophy and Practice.

We’ll continue in that vein with another multi-panel Barry-esque exercise.

In the final hour, we’ll do the cornerstone exercise from Lynda Barry’s book What it Is, walking around in an image.
